I have not used these for soup. I use them for Greek yogurt I wanted to freeze and for homemade ice cream. they worked great. After I froze the Greek yogurt the trays had a weird smell, and I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to get it out. I just washed and dried them and put them back in the box. The next time I pull them out, the smell was gone.
